Rekeying is changing a lock thus allowing a different key to operate it. Rekeying is done when a lock owner may be concerned that unauthorized people have keys to the lock. The lock may be altered by a locksmith thus only new keys will work.

Change / Replace a Lock

To change a lock it means that we take the old lock off and install a new one. The new lock includes new keys, tumbler, and latch. Reasons to change locks:
